Privacy Policy

Last updated: 2026-06-26

This privacy policy explains how Prosody Consulting, LLC ("Prosody," "we," "us") collects, uses, and protects information you provide when you use our website at prosodyconsulting.com. We aim to collect the minimum information we need to do our work for you and to be straightforward about how we use it.

What data we collect

We collect information you provide directly when you submit a form on this site or correspond with us by email or phone. That typically includes:

  • Name (first and last)
  • Email address
  • Phone number, if you provide one
  • Company or organization name
  • The content of your message, including any project or context you share

We do not collect financial information through this website. We do not collect special-category personal data (race, ethnicity, health, political views, etc.). We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

How we collect your data

You directly provide us with the data we collect. We collect data when you:

  • Submit a form on this site (Request a Consultation, or similar)
  • Email or call us directly
  • Visit a page on this site, which generates standard server-side logs (IP address, browser type, page requested, timestamp) used for security and operational purposes

How we use your data

We use the information you provide to:

  • Respond to your inquiry and have a conversation about whether we're a fit for what you're trying to do
  • Maintain a record of our communications so we can follow up appropriately
  • Send you information you specifically request

We do not send marketing emails unless you opt in. We do not sell your information. We do not share it with third parties for advertising. We do not buy or rent contact lists.

How we store your data

Information submitted through forms on this site is processed and stored by HubSpot, Inc., the customer relationship management platform we use to manage client correspondence. HubSpot's own privacy practices are documented at legal.hubspot.com/privacy-policy.

This website is hosted by a third-party content delivery network. Standard server logs (described above) are retained for a short period for security and operational purposes.

We retain client correspondence for as long as we have an active relationship with you and for a reasonable period afterward to support continuity and any legal obligations. You can ask us to delete your information at any time (see "Your data protection rights" below).

Cookies and tracking

We use Google Tag Manager to manage the measurement tags on this site. Google Tag Manager itself does not collect personal data, but it loads tags — such as Google Analytics and the HubSpot tracking code — that set cookies and process limited technical information about your visit, including your IP address, browser type, device, the pages you view, and how you arrived at the site.

Google Analytics sets cookies that help us understand, in aggregate, how the site is used and how we can improve it. Google's handling of this data is governed by its own privacy policy at policies.google.com/privacy.

The HubSpot tracking code sets cookies (including hubspotutk, __hstc, __hssc, and __hssrc) that record the pages you visit and how you navigate the site. If you later submit a form, HubSpot associates this browsing activity with your contact record so we can understand how visitors engage with us before getting in touch. HubSpot's own privacy practices are documented at legal.hubspot.com/privacy-policy. HubSpot embedded forms may also set functional cookies necessary for form operation.

We do not run third-party advertising trackers, social-media retargeting pixels, or session-replay tools, and we do not use this data to sell your information or build advertising profiles.

You can control or block cookies through your browser settings, you can opt out of Google Analytics measurement using Google's opt-out browser add-on, and you can prevent HubSpot tracking by blocking cookies or enabling "Do Not Track" in your browser, which HubSpot honors. If we change the tags we deploy or add new tracking, we will update this policy and the "last updated" date above.
